Why All Day Kind?
Jonna and Chris started All Day Kind with two things in mind, kindness and comfort.
We make clothing for those who believe in kindness, sharing, loving, and equality. We believe everyone deserves respect and everyone deserves love. With All Day Kind, our hope is that you feel a sense of that community - the Kindness Community - every single day. Especially the tough days.
We want All Day Kind to mean more to you than just a comfortable piece of clothing; we want it to stand for something.
Based in the wonderful community of Liberty Village in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, our story begins with a cheesy love story. Since meeting, we have spent nearly every moment together, both working from home and building ADK. We have always felt a need to do something, but neither of us had any idea what that truly meant.
The apparel industry is one of the hardest to succeed in, but we don’t care. We don’t care about success or profit margins; those are only of interest because it means keeping this thing going. Our goal is not to just be everywhere while selling the most we can, it’s to mean something. How much it means and how far that spreads isn’t up to us, it will be up to the community we all build together.
When you wear All Day Kind you are sending a message to yourself and the world around you - kindness wins, and you are part of that team. We hope you smile when you look in the mirror and that even on your worst days, you can still bring the world a slice of sunshine.
We hope that our little local startup grows into a full blown community of folks hopeful for a more loving world; sharing and spreading kindness in the easiest way possible - a kind little slogan on a comfy everyday piece of apparel.
